Use machine embroidery to create fun and personalised fabric gift tags!
Kit Contents:
- Soft calico fabric
- Squishy wadding
- Erasable fabric pen
- Paper templates
- Twine and needle
- Complete instructions and video tutorial
You will also need a sewing machine with a freemotion foot - details are included in the instructions on how to source the correct foot for your machine and how to adjust your machine settings.
Most domestic machines can handle machine embroidery; my advice is to google your machine + freemotion/quilting foot, if you can find a foot, your machine will be capable of machine embroidery!
These sweet little fabric gift tags are a great beginners project and will help you become more proficient in freemotion embroidery on the sewing machine - it just takes practice!
Personalised fabric gift tags can be used for a whole range of purposes - the obvious being the perfect adornment to your special gift wrapping at Christmas and on birthday presents.
They also make very cute name tags, place setting tags, and even used as labels for things around your house! I've had one lady make them for her laundry baskets; 'lights' and 'darks' - how cute is that.
In this kit, you'll learn how to draw out your design onto fabric, stitch over it using the technique of freemotion machine embroidery, and turn it into a beautiful fabric gift tag, ready for gifting to a friend or loved one.
